The Journey starts with a single Step

So now you know a little more about me.  It is important that I reveal aspects of who I am through my various exploits as we go because the populous needs to know.  They need to know just how super they can actually be.  Isn't this everyones desire, to become some how more awesome? 

"Hi, my name is Joe Thompson, and I aspire for mediocrity.  Awesomeness just isn't my thing."  Do you ever hear people saying this?  No.  Because nobody wants to be status quo.

This morning while you all were sleeping I wrote that the first question one must ask one's self is.."who am I?"

And now that everyone has talked to themselves and looked in the mirror and asked this basic question...we have all come to the conclusion that you are.....well, what?!

If you answered anything but "perfect" or "awesome" or some variation of something positive, then you are WRONG.

Are you not perfect?  Are you not good?  Do you not have good intentions?  Do you not do exactly what it is you do better than anybody else on the planet?  I rest my case.

If you are not good, then you should re-ask the question.  If you have evil intentions, then maybe you need to re-ask the question.  If you are somebody other than who it is you are, then you should re-ask the question.

I hear a lot of this..."Felson, its easy for you to say you are awesome.  You are awesome.  I clearly am not as handsome, wealthy, well endowed, and intelligent as you.  How can I say I am awesome when I am in your presence? "  I respond to this question the same way every single time...."Listen, handsome, wealthy, well endowed, and intelligent are all relative terms.  I guarantee there is someone else that fits into that categorization even more so than myself.  You are awesome."  Relatively speaking.

So just know this when your head hits the pillow tonight.  You are BLOODY awesome.
