Friday Night Lights. Looking to the Sky.

The first thing I need to address is a couple of rumors.  One, that Adam Honnold is in any way associated with this blogsite.  He does not have a thing to do with this.  This is all Felson.  So please do not give that attention whore any more compliments for things that I have done.

Adam is pretty normal.  He spends too much time looking at sports statistics and other meaningless stuff. I think he would be perfectly content managing his fantasy football teams professionally, if he could find a way to swing it.  He likes his dog, Steve.  They go on rides together and listen to music.  It is just normal stuff so please, understand that he is Not ME, he is Not like ME, and he never could hope to become ME. 

I know that all sounds a little hateful.  Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the guy.  I LOATHE him.  That is part of our dynamic.  It really isn't personal.

Next, a couple women have been offended by some of the comments made by Felson on this site.  Well, if you are offended, then I apologize for the offense.  I stand by my comments.  If the shoe fits, then wear it.  All I do is hold the mirror.  It is your job to see the reflection.

Come away with me in the Night. 

Last night I had the pleasure of viewing the full moon with a telescope.  It was a mind opening experience.  What I mean by this is that seeing craters on the moon's horizon added a level of perspective to my worldview.  We are, as Carl Sagan once said, confined to our pale blue dot in the sky.  When the mind's eye is opened to the vastness of the Cosmos, we gain a greater appreciation for our small little place in it.  For the universe is Hostile, and Life is fragile.  You are more special than you can even begin to comprehend.  Now don't get a big head or anything, but face it, you are a pretty complex organism for such a simpleton.

Your body is a collection of organs working AROUND THE CLOCK in perfect synchronicity.  Information is passed from cells to other cells on the other side of the body instantaneously, suggesting a greater level of organization under the surface.  Myriad systems working together in perfect harmony.  And all of that, in a world of entropy and decay.

So it is you then, a beacon of hope.  Imagine that.  The future is in YOUR hands.  Isn't that just what you needed today?

If you treat every day like it is your personal responsibility to fix the problem that is the world around us, then over time the world around will start reflecting your inner vision.

Intention is the single most important aspect of Prayer.  Attention is the second. 

Listen to your breathing.  Listen to the trees breathing.  Listen to the bees breathing.
