I want to congratulate Adam Honnold on being name FM2012's man of the year.

It is the first year we are giving out awards, so this is a special time in history for all of us.

Just remember, you were here to witness it.

Ohio grown, he spent his formative years running.  Where was he going?  Nobody ever really found out.  It continued on into his pre-pubescence and adolescence..and even into his collegescence and workolescence.  He never stopped.

But he did gain a little weight.

As a tyke he would read. Play video games. Shoot basketballs through hoops.  Watch very little television and study spelling bee words for at least a half hour every day. 

Mentally retarded is not the right word for it.  It is something else, something special.

He went to college to obtain some knowledge and what he found was not expected.

It was a wild explosion that flung matter about like a supernova of sorts.  He decided he couldn't find enough evidence of God's existense, so he closed the Book, got a bottle of cough syrup, consumed the entire thing, and quickly changed his mind back again.

But even questioning God for a second can turn a life into a heaping pile of shit.  Just ask Katy Perry.

So, here we have a once strong individual turning into a drug user, the lowest of the low.

He overcame it.  He got married. He got a stable desk job.

And then things really started getting wierd.

He stayed sober for a very long time, and then restarted again. How stupid. But he was able to once again put everything behind him and stop cold turkey.  He joined the Military.

Wow, that is when his head really got a good workout.

At any rate, the Military decided he was too damaged to send anywhere dangerous, and they got rid of him, and with nothing left to turn to, he once again started using.  I know, stupid.

Now the incredible thing is, he was able to defeat it the third time.  You didn't think he was giving up, did you?  Well, just when he was about to give up completely, he saw the face of Jesus on his wash rag, and of course was overcome with love and mercy from God, and became a real, actual, honest to God writer, which is what he has become.

He released free of charge an e novel through a blogsite.  I am not exactly sure if that has ever been done before, but dinkus might just have stumbled on something novel....I know....

So we want to give him this award right now.  I have said enough.
