New Years, More false promises.

I am back on Facebook because Felson is at high sea, and chances are it will be up to me to keep the site running for the rest of the year.

He keeps talking about the end of the world.  I don't know that I believe the world will be coming to an end, but I am not sure it would be that bad if it did.

Why?  Well, it is hell here on earth for starters.  I wish I could say it was wonderful, and it is a lot of times, but think about how many of our good memories are directly related to human suffering in other parts of the world.

So many of the things we take for granted, from our clothes to our diamonds to the gas the fuels our vehicles comes at such a humongous cost.

And consumerism is considered to be such a good thing here in our capitalist society.

It isn't easy being cynical.  It isn't easy being Adam.  It isn't easy being green or cheesy.  It is much harder to live on less than a dollar a day in third world countries...

And it is sad to me that they want to live like Americans....for when the world catches up to the US, and starts living our McDonald's and Wal Mart dreams...well, that is truly a death sentence for our planet.

So call me a downer, call me what you will...I hope aliens abduct me and take me away.  Until then, I will be trying to turn atheists into believers....

Material world is less than the spiritual world...  May 2012 find a spiritual revolution inside all of us.
