Special blog entry Number 1.

I want you to close your eyes.  Ok, now are they closed?  (I won't ask you how you are reading this right now if you just play along.)   Imagine you are a clean piece of paper.  It doesn't matter what kind of paper, stop asking stupid questions.

Now that you are a clean sheet of paper, I want you to imagine with all the imaginitive power you can muster from within, what would you put on that paper if it weren't clean?  Would you scribble on it?  What kind of utensil would you use?  Marker?  Crayon?  Charcoal?  You can even fold the paper up if you like, make it into an airplane, or an origami something or other.

What do you have?  What is your piece of paper now?  Clear your head.  Except leave the paper and what you did to it in your head.  Well, what do you have?!

What is the point of this exercize?   That is a very good question.  One could ask the same question about your life.  What is the point?  Why are you here?  What are you doing with yourself these days?  Is it even worth the effort?

Sometimes life presents itself as a confusing jumble of moving picutres, sounds, emotions, experience....and that little piece of paper, that kernel of YOUNESS that exists somewhere buried in your brain, amygdala, and soul....well, that piece of paper "youness" gets a little overwhelmed.

Happiness is not a basic human right.  The pursuit of happiness should be a basic human right but it is being taken away by our government, the powers that be, the League, and they are taking it from right in front of your very eyes.  This is a crime of the most diabolical nature, but it has nothing to do with what I am talking about today in this blog so we will return to it later. ( i appreciate you navigating these tangents and diatribes, I have a feeling you often question what it is you are even doing reading this blog in the first place!)

Love is one of the most fundamental forces in nature.  You won't find it in any equations.  You can try to connect it to things like addiction and black holes, but these are only metaphors in the end.  Love is something that everyone needs to be happy.  And when you get down to it, you really don't need addiction or black holes to be happy. 

I have sensed a disconnect with my audience.  My psychic told me this would happen.  She/he told me that it gets TOUGHER before it gets EASIER.  It told me that I would eventually start questioning myself and what it was I was doing with this blog.  It also said that the nagging voice inside of you that tells you YOU AREN'T GOOD ENOUGH, you should probably listen to it because you will subject yourself to humiliation and ridicule.

We must remember to breathe in, and breathe out.  Follow your breathing while you contemplate your piece of paper.  The breath is a fundamental aspect of Life.  And it is important to remember to breathe when you are participating in your daily activities...if you are ever lost in life, take a deep breath and remember that you are a holy child of God.

I am doing my best not to quote scripture, folks.  If you have a desire to learn more about God, I suggest you buy a Bible immediately.  If you want to be helpful or of some use, you can try being a servant for the day.  That means, if someone is downtrodden, you pick them up.  If someone needs money, you give them yours.  If you want to get crunk, dial up Lil John.  You have to participate.

We cannot control that which is going on around us.  What we can control is how we handle ourselves in these so called situations.  Am I an agent of AWESOME?  Am I an agent of evolution?

Did I just say evolution?  Yes people, grow up.  It is time to GROW UP.  That means you need to evolve, like everything else here on the planet, or ye shall surely perish.  Evolution is speeding up.  Things zing by faster and faster.  You have been thinking it for quite some time now, but haven't really had the intellectual fortitude to put it into words.  That is where I come along.  We are in the process of evolving.

The last sentence is the most important sentence you will ever read in your life.   But we continue to read because there are more words in front of us.

Evolution is the RULE.  We don't understand evolution fully, but we can use our discerning minds to grapple with it if we so choose.

If you think for one second that right now you are the pinnacle of evolution, all I need to say to you is look outside.  The world is moving on without you.
